Munchee Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and [AMJAD KHAFOU] (“Munchee”, “we”, “us”) and govern your use of the Munchee app (the “App”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, don’t use the App.

1. Who can use Munchee

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the App only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Your account

You sign in with Apple. You’re responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your device secure. You can delete your account anytime from Settings → Delete Account.

3. Not medical advice

Munchee helps you learn about the foods you eat. It is not medical, nutritional or dietary advice, and it is not a substitute for advice from a doctor, dietitian or other qualified professional.

• Product scores, ingredient flags, swaps, meal plans and insights are general information based on our own criteria. They are not a judgment about whether a food is safe or right for you.
• Product information comes from manufacturers, public databases, other users, photos and AI. It may be incomplete, outdated or wrong, and products can change their recipes.
• If you have a food allergy, intolerance or medical condition, always read the product’s actual label and packaging before eating it. Never rely on Munchee alone to avoid an allergen.
• Talk to a healthcare professional before making significant changes to your diet, especially if you are pregnant, nursing or managing a health condition.

4. AI-generated content

Some features, such as personalized notes, ingredient insights, recipes and swap tips, are generated by artificial intelligence. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete or inappropriate. Use your own judgment and don’t rely on it as fact. You can turn AI insights off in Settings.

5. Subscriptions and payments

Some features require a paid subscription.

• Billing. Subscriptions are purchased through Apple. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. Prices and billing periods are shown before you buy.
• Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Introductory offers. We may offer free or discounted introductory periods. When an introductory period ends, your subscription automatically continues at the regular price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Introductory offers are usually available once per person.
